The Good Samaritan Hospital of Maryland is a 317-bed adult care community facility serving the Baltimore area. There are 2,000 employees on staff, including more than 600 nurses. In one recent year, the hospital treated 139,052 outpatients. Over 55,000 people visited the emergency room, and 17,775 patients were admitted to the hospital.

U.S. News and World Report ranked the Good Samaritan Hospital of Maryland in the top 50 hospitals in the nation in two specialties: Diabetes and Endocrinology and Orthopedics. The hospital's comprehensive health services include intensive and cardiac care units.
