Harbor Hospital, founded in 1903, is a 259-bed acute care medical facility serving the residents of Baltimore and its surrounding areas. There are more than 500 nurses on staff. In one recent year, 52,427 patients visited the emergency room, and 13,781 patients were admitted to the hospital.
Hospital departments include the Arthritis & Osteoporosis Center, Cancer Center, Cardiology, Diabetes, Emergency Department, Gastroenterology/Hepatology, Harbor Primary Care, Harborview Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy, Intensive Care Unit, Lung Cancer Center, Neonatal Care Unit, Neurosurgical Care, Orthopedic Specialty Care, Pediatrics, Rehabilitation Services, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Sleep Center, Women's Services and OB Services.
Health Care Services at the hospital include Auxiliary, Community Education and Family Wellness, Harbor Fitness, Imaging/Radiology, MedStar Pharmacy, Volunteer Services and NIA at Harbor Hospital.
The hospital has two satellite locations, and they are HealthPark and SurgiCenter in Pasadena and Orthopedic Specialty Care in Timonium.
