The Kennedy Krieger Institute is a 70-bed children's facility in Baltimore that focuses on treating children with pediatric developmental disabilities. There are more than 150 physicians on staff, many of them leading specialists in their field, striving to improve the lives of children with disorders of the brain, spinal cord and musco-skeletal system. In one recent year, the hospital treated 14,000 outpatients and admitted 400 patients.

Inpatient programs include the Neurobehavioral Unit, the Pediatric Feeding Disorders Unit and the Pediatric Rehabilitative Unit.
